The demonstrators arrived from Tomás Valle avenue and more people joined this group. Later, a police contingent made a cordon to avoid incidents. Later they advanced again along Tomás Valle avenue and then took Dominicos avenue.

The Peruvian National Police (PNP) reinforced its security presence at Lima's international airport to prevent any kind of takeover by protesters as has been seen at four other airports in the country during the current civil unrest. The airport remained open, albeit with additional delays for travelers.

The protesters continued moving through the streets of Callao and San Martín de Porres, leaving behind several congested roads. In fact, several vehicle drivers argued with the protesters because they occupied both lanes and did not give way to the circulation of public transport.
