Arequipa: supplies and medicines arrive (Spanish) 

Thanks to the airlift that was implemented in coordination with the head of EsSalud Arturo Orellana and the Peruvian Air Force (FAP), seven tons of medicines and medical supplies were provided to the Arequipa Assistance Network to supply hospitals and clinics in the region.


The important shipment contains medicines, laboratory supplies and medical material. Among them, drugs in high demand for the treatment of chronic diseases, as well as products such as gauze, sutures, endobronchial tubes, etc.

The manager of the Arequipa Assistance Network of EsSalud, Miguel Barreda, received the equipment at the La Joya base and thanked the holder of Social Security and the Strategic Goods Supply Center (CEABE) for the actions taken.

In recent days, more than seven tons of medicines and medical supplies were also sent to Apurímac and Madre de Dios.
