S/ 100 million were lost in La Libertad due to road blockades 

After four days of blocking roads and several deaths due to protests against Congress, yesterday they freed the highways of Libertad. In the region, large economic losses were registered in large and small companies.

The protests and roadblocks in our region, because of the political crisis that our country is experiencing, have generated daily economic losses estimated at approximately 25.4 million soles, as announced by the Chamber of Commerce of La Libertad (CCLL).

In the count of damage caused to health and life, the assets of entrepreneurs and merchants from different sectors who were forced to close, putting their sustainability at risk, as well as the jobs they generate, are added.
