Population Didn't Respect First Day of Curfew

Ayacucho - The Central Government through Supreme Decree No. 146-2022-PCM declared mandatory social immobilization in the province of Huamanga, as well as for Cangallo  due to the current conflictive situation.

Said regulations were published last Saturday, December 17, 2022, and came into force on Sunday the 18th, for five calendar days.

During said hours, people can circulate on the roads for public use for the acquisition, production, and supply of food. The movement with a private vehicle or pedestrian is also allowed for those people who require urgent or emergency medical attention because their life or health is at serious risk; as well as, for the acquisition of medicines from pharmacies and apothecaries.

Despite the provision issued by the central government, the population continued with its activities as normal, on the first day of the curfew in Huamanga.
