MEXICO CITY, Dec 21 (Reuters) - Mexico will not break off diplomatic relations with Peru, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Wednesday, a day after Peru named Mexico's ambassador to the country "persona non grata" and ordered him to leave.

"We are not going to expel anyone," Lopez Obrador told reporters at a regular government news conference.

Only Two Grades of Gasoline to be Sold in Peru as of January 1, 2023 (original) The Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM) reported that only two grades gasoline, regular (91 octane) and premium (97 octane), will be sold at the country's taps. Minister of Energy and Mines Oscar Vera Gargurevich clarified that this measure will not affect the increase in fuel prices. Only two types of gasoline will be marketed in Peru from January 2023. MINEM reported that simplification will not increase prices and will be implemented gradually. As of January 1, 2023, the adaptation process for the sale of regular and premium gasoline and gasohol (‘gasoholes’) in Peru will begin.
