The president of ANGR and head of GORE Cusco, Jean Paul Benavente, said that a summary commission should be installed, which could be composed of members of the Council of State, to determine those responsible for the deaths and violence unleashed in the protests around the country.
"What has to be done is a summary commission that gives an immediate report, in the next five days and determines who is responsible. I think that is where the action of responding to the population by the Executive is lacking" he said in an interview with the Eighth Commandment program of Canal N.
On the other hand, Benavente criticized the groups that would be inciting the population and have committed violent acts, because they distort the legitimate protest.
"They are distorting a protest in which social organizations have put their voice, they have self-convoked. It cannot be that, by small groups, infiltrated, planted, this social protest can be distorted. They are condemned, strongly and exemplary sanctioned so that this never happens again in the country" he said.
In addition, Benavente ruled out serving as the President of the Council of Ministers, as has been reported in the press. "I must finish my term on December 31st" he said.
