Government suspends mandatory social immobilization in Virú, Cangallo and Huamanga

The Government suspended the measure of mandatory social immobilization that governed the provinces of Virú (La Libertad), Cangallo and Huamanga (Ayacucho), through a supreme decree published today in an extraordinary edition of the Official Gazette El Peruano.

Supreme Decree No. 147-2022-PCM explains that the measure of mandatory social immobilization in these jurisdictions had been approved through Supreme Decrees No. 144-2022-PCM (December 15) and 146-2022-PCM (December 17).

Ministerial Endorsement

"This Supreme Decree is countersigned by the President of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Justice and Human Rights," says the notice published today in El Peruano.

The supreme decree is signed by the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte Zegarra, the President of the Council of Ministers, Pedro Angulo Arana, and the Ministers of Defense, Interior and Justice and Human Rights.
